Efter et kort m\u00f8de med nogle af medlemmerne blev der afgivet et bud p\u00e5 Volvoen, uden at man p\u00e5 dav\u00e6rende tidspunkt vidste, hvor i Sverige k\u00f8ret\u00f8jet befandt sig.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"833\">Den <strong data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"601\">8. november 2005<\/strong> kom bekr\u00e6ftelsen p\u00e5, at buddet var accepteret, og at Volvoen dermed var k\u00f8bt. Det viste sig dog, til stor overraskelse, at k\u00f8ret\u00f8jet stod hele <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"757\">1.037 km<\/strong> oppe i Sverige \u2013 i byen <strong data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"792\">Br\u00e4cke<\/strong>, cirka <strong data-start=\"800\" data-end=\"832\">100 km nord\u00f8st for Sundsvall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"1378\">Herefter gik et st\u00f8rre detektivarbejde i gang for at finde en l\u00f8sning p\u00e5 transporten hjem til Asn\u00e6s. Mange gode forslag blev dr\u00f8ftet, men gennem en god kontakt til <strong data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1007\">DFDS<\/strong> lykkedes det at f\u00e5 Volvoen transporteret til Danmark uden st\u00f8rre omkostninger. Torsdag den <strong data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1120\">22. december 2005<\/strong> kom beskeden fra DFDS om, at Volvoen stod i Br\u00f8ndby, og fredag den <strong data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1209\">23. december 2005<\/strong> \u2013 som en tidlig julegave \u2013 blev k\u00f8ret\u00f8jet modtaget af en stor flok medlemmer i Asn\u00e6s. Dermed var <strong data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1365\">den 12. veteranbrandbil i Dragsholm Brandv\u00e6rnsforening<\/strong> en realitet.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1537\">Efter en grundig gennemgang af Volvoen blev der kun fundet enkelte mindre fejl, men en omlakering var uundg\u00e5elig. K\u00f8ret\u00f8jet blev derfor <strong data-start=\"1516\" data-end=\"1536\">renoveret i 2007<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1981\">I begyndelsen af <strong data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"1569\">1950\u2019erne<\/strong> modtog Volvo en ordre p\u00e5 at udvikle en ny terr\u00e6ng\u00e5ende vogn til den svenske h\u00e6r. En pr\u00e6produktionsserie p\u00e5 <strong data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"1693\">90 k\u00f8ret\u00f8jer<\/strong>, betegnet <strong data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"1713\">L2304<\/strong>, blev fremstillet og leveret i perioden <strong data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1767\">1959\u20131961<\/strong>.
